Here is a neat little idea I’d like to share. In Christian Tissier’s 76-minute video I noticed how he flipped his wrist over before starting the kaiten to grab Uke‘s wrist as we can see in the screen shot. I noticed this because I want to do this from now on to block Uke‘s wrist in case he decides to suddenly let go. Those few milliseconds of protection could mean a lot.

I have never seen anyone do this before. There are so many rules that should just be replaced with common sense.
